I’m an assistant professor in Computer Science at the University of Catania in Italy. I belong to the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science in Catania. I hold some graduate-level classes for degrees in Computer Science.

My research interests are focused on Cryptography: security protocols, cryptographic primitives and network security. I belong to the local Crypto Group.

With PCs 1,000 times more powerful than they used to be, our encryption keys can and should be 1,000 times bigger too.
That means cryptokeys of at least 56,000 bits.
